The youth of FUMC enjoy a unique place in our community of faith. Individuals can choose to participate in Chancel Choir, lead worship as Lecturers or scripture readers, and play in the church orchestra and/or in the Vine Worship Band. Special occasions may call for Youth handbells or Youth singers in worship or other special events. The youth are welcomed as full participants in the worship services on the usher, acolyte, and hospitality teams. By working side-by-side with adults, they gain confidence and strengthen their skills as members of each group. The Vine Worship Team
Youth of high school age who have a passion for worship and are skilled in voice or playing guitar (acoustic, electric, bass), keyboard and/or drums may consider being a part of the Vine praise band.
