Chancel Choir
The chancel choir is a group of dedicated singers who minister at the 11:00 am worship service each Sunday.
The choir’s purpose is to:
- Share the Gospel of Christ through song and praise
- Lead the congregation in worship and singing
- Bless the congregation and the choir alike through the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs
- Encourage believers in their walk with Jesus Christ
- Provide an avenue for believers to share their abilities in the worship experience
The choir is led by Renee Shatley and rehearses each Wednesday night at 6:45 in the Adult Choir Room. Auditions are not required.
Membership in the Chancel Choir is open to adults and high school students who commit to serve God in this special way, who are willing to faithfully and joyfully carry out the procedures and responsibilities of choir membership with a heart for the Lord, and who desire to grow as ministers and musicians to increasing heights of fruitfulness and effectiveness in their knowledge of God and service to Him. First Orchestra
First Orchestra meets once a month to play the opening hymn of Worship and the Offertory. The group is comprised of anyone who loves to play, whether presently in a band/orchestra, or was in years past. They meet on the Sunday Morning of performance before Sunday school, practice together the separate parts sent earlier by email to them. The additional creative ability is another way to praise God with a joyful sound! Renee Shatley shepherds this group, with assistance from Mr. Casey Oakes and Mr. David Cody. The Vine Worship Team
The Vine worship team is a diverse group of singers and instrumentalists, who share the common interest of glorifying God through music and are passionate about worship. This dedicated team leads the music for The Vine contemporary worship service each week, and occasionally other events throughout the year. Our music style is mostly modern praise and worship, but we include treasured hymns from the past occasionally as well. Typical instruments used in the band include acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and drums. We meet once a week for rehearsal, usually on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45pm. In addition to leading worship each Sunday, our team gets together periodically for fun, fellowship, and service projects. Singers and musicians are typically scheduled on a rotating basis. The Bluegrass Band

Chancel Ringers
Chancel Ringers are a dedicated group of 10-13 men and women who meet each Wednesday evening at 6:00-6:45. They play four octaves of handbells and 5 octaves handchimes, sometimes accompanying the congregational singing, as well as solo instruments.
